Margherite Walsh

Margherite was born and raised in the beauty of rural Australia and was admitted to the Legal Profession in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts (English) and Bachelor of Laws attained from James Cook University, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University. She has since gone on to further pursue her commitment to continuous learning and obtained her Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne in 2016.

 

Margherite has worked across the private and public sectors in legal, regulatory, contract management and People Management roles. She is passionate about employment relationships and assisting businesses to perform at their best. Her roles have provided exposure across numerous practice areas including: employment, commercial, estate planning, insolvency, litigation, mining, and dispute resolution, to name a few.

 

Margherite is a Member of the Queensland Law Society, and has worked across QLD, NSW and VIC jurisdictions in her years of practice. 

 

Margherite has a large, young family who keep her very busy in her ‘down time’. She loves travelling and exploring and soaking up the ‘here and now’ with her family at the beach, pool, or in nature.
