About Andrew
Andrew was admitted as a lawyer in 2018 after graduating from the University of Newcastle with a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Andrew’s practice spans litigation and commercial matters, including contractual disputes, building defects claims, real property disputes, debt recovery matters, restraints of trade and equitable claims.
Andrew also has significant experience advising on contracting and joint venture arrangements, particularly in the building and construction industry, including the drafting, negotiation and management of construction contracts, development agreements and related commercial arrangements.
In addition to his litigation and commercial practice, Andrew advises private and not-for-profit clients on structuring, governance, contracts and regulatory compliance, including the establishment and ongoing operation of not-for-profit entities.
Prior to joining JLA, Andrew practiced in the Northern Territory as an insurance lawyer with a large multinational law firm and as a civil law solicitor for Legal Aid. He has also acted for insurers in relation to workers compensation claims in NSW.
Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his young family, playing sport and learning languages.
