Sally Davies

Sally was born and raised in Newcastle and graduated from The University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) and a Bachelor of Laws in 2006.

 

She has over sixteen years’ of experience working in a range of specialised areas including wills and estates (estate planning and deceased estate administration), employment law, and corporate governance in the not-for-profit sector.

 

Gaining valuable experience working in her family’s Newcastle retail business Sally has a strong understanding regarding the legal needs and requirements of small business owners.

 

Sally was also heavily involved in NSW Young Lawyers for over 7 years, being an Executive Councillor, Chair of the Bushweb Regional Issues Committee, as well as an active representative on the NSW Law Society Regional Issues Committee. Sally was the Treasurer of Newcastle Law Society from 2018-2021, and is continuing her involvement with the Newcastle Law Society Committee as a member of its board.

 

Away from the law, Sally’s passions include exploring her love of playwriting with her short and full length plays performed across 20 festivals and events staged across Australia and overseas.
