Sophie Atkinson

Sophie is in her third year of a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Criminology at the University of Newcastle and joined the firm in mid-2025. This is her first legal position, and she is eager to build a strong foundation in the profession by applying the knowledge and skills she has developed through her studies to practical legal work. She values the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues and to contribute meaningfully to the firm’s matters and client service.

 

Before joining the firm, she worked in a range of hospitality roles where she developed strong communication, organisation, and customer service skills. This background has given her a strong work ethic, an ability to adapt in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to providing a positive experience for clients and colleagues alike.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, whether that’s going to the gym, walking along the beach, or discovering new cafés. She also likes spending time with her loved ones, having a passion for showing her love through cooking.
